Site work and renovation of a civil project in Woodstock, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of the south clearwell roof and refurbishing the small and large pipe galleries at the water treatment plant The project consists of: Contract A: installing approximately 3,875 linear feet of 12" ductile iron water line Contract B: the jack and bore installation method of approximately 210 linear feet of 24" steel casing with 12" ductile iron carrier pipe under the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks No bids will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly qualified to submit a bid for this construction in accordance with all applicable laws of the State of Alabama. This shall include evidence of holding a current license from the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama, as required by Chapter 8 of Title 34, of the Code of Alabama, 1975. In addition, non-residents of the State, if a corporation, shall show evidence of having qualified with the Secretary of State to do business in the State of Alabama. The bidder shall show evidence by clearly displaying the current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the bid is delivered. In addition, bids shall be clearly identified on the exterior of the package with the bidderís name, address, the name of the project being bid, and time and place of the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical errors if the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted. All bids received after the date and time of the bid opening noted above will be returned unopened.
