The purpose of this Bid is to establish a contract to provide fixed pricing for glass, glazing, window tinting, mirrors, installation and related services for The School Board of Orange County, Florida (OCPS) on an as-needed basis. The Contractor must be experienced in all types the installation of glass windows, glass doors, glazing, tinting, and mirror services as listed in the body of these specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supervision, travel, etc. to perform glass window installation, glazing, window tinting and mirrors throughout OCPS. OCPS shall supply plans for major projects. The Contractor will be responsible for meeting all specifications as outlined herein and on the Bid Price Sheet. Failure to comply with these requirements may be cause for Bid rejection or award cancellation. Question Deadline 12/01/2023 at 2:00 PM ET. Anticipated Award Date 1/16/2024. OCPS reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid, in whole or in part, when it is in OCPS best interest. OCPS reserves the right to reject any or all Bid(s), to waive minor irregularities, and/or to accept the Bid(s), which in its sole judgment best serves the interest of OCPS. The formal written protest must be accompanied by a protest bond, cashiers check, or money order in the amount of one percent (1%) of the total estimated contract value. The estimated contract value of this Bid is $300,000.00.
