Saline County Department of Senior Services is releasing an invitation to bid for construction of a new walk-in freezer. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided and in a sealed envelope addressed to Saline County Administrative Resource Center, 300 W. Ash, Room 209, Salina, KS 67401. The bid name and bid number shall be clearly printed on the outside of the envelope. Please mail in ample time to ensure your bid is received by the deadline. Emailed and faxed bids will be accepted on this project. Faxed bids may be sent to 1-785-309-5811. Emailed bids must be sent to both johnsonl@salinecountyks.gov and betth@salinecountyks.gov. The bid name and bid number shall be printed on a faxed cover page or in the email's subject line. Project Description (BASE) : Project consists of relocation of existing storage shelving/supplies, equipment , demolition of ceiling grid/ acoustical tile, light fixtures and mechanical grills t hat are in conflict of new freezer. Relocation of an existing door/frame and casing , construction of new partition wall to receive relocated door/frame and casing and repair existing wall at relocated door location . Relocate existing light fixtures, hvac diffusers and smoke detector and adjust existing grid .
