Scope of work for front drive o Investigate and resolve suspected collapsed drainage line issues in front parking lot o Prepare entire area for new asphalt overlay - to include removing existing parking stops and signage if needed o Appropriately prepare a joint abutting the sidewalks, brick walls and Butler Avenue o Install new asphalt overlay (using appropriate mix and depth considering daily morning and afternoon car rider drop-off with approximately 200 cars/SUVs on approximately 18,000 square feet of existing parking and drive areas. Ensure smooth transition from parking areas to sidewalk crossing areas. o Re-install parking stops and signage o Repaint all striping per suggestions/recommendations from building administration. Scope of work for teacher parking o Provide options to maximize parking spaces including but not limited to removing and paving over existing traffic island o Prepare entire area for new asphalt overlay o Appropriately prepare a joint abutting the sidewalks and Matin Luther King, Jr Boulevard o Install new asphalt overlay (using appropriate mix and depth considering daily morning and afternoon car rider drop-off with approximately 200 cars/SUVs on approximately 22,000 square feet of existing parking and drive areas. Ensure smooth transition from parking areas to sidewalk crossing areas o Paint striping to maximize parking spaces The contractor shall obtain and pay for all construction permits, fees, licenses, etc., as may be required by law. The contractor's sum shall include such federal, state, and local taxes as may be applicable to the performance of the contract.
