This qualification process is part of the procurement process for the project and is the first step, namely the selection of suppliers who will participate in this delivery process. The main steps of the RFQ are: - Publication of a RFQ; - Hosting a virtual information session; - Receipt of qualification files; - Sending of Notices of Qualification to successful suppliers. Once the suppliers have qualified, the second step in the process is for Hydro-Québec to invite them to participate in workshops during the design phase of the project's plans and specifications to discuss various topics while receiving financial compensation. During these workshops, Hydro-Québec wants to take advantage of the expertise of the private sector.
