Demolition and site work for a museum in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 77,067-square-foot, two-story above grade museum; and for site work for a museum.
**As of January 24, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The Project is expected to be awarded on January 28, 202. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Demolition and removal of the entire building, including foundations and attached substructure. Filling of former building site and construction of lighted gravel parking area over former building footprint. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Demolition of a 2 story office structure with a sublevel garage to fully remove the building from the site and fill and grass the area impacted by the work. The last day to submit questions pertaining to this IFB will be December 8, 2023. Bid Bond, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid (the Bid Bond) The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
