Site work for a water / sewer project in Pittsville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the improvement of the Town of Pittsville Water Treatment Plant including miscellaneous site and buried piping work, chemical system improvement, aeration system upgrades, interior piping, and valve upgrades, electrical, mechanical, and control systems. This project will be a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and Water Supply Grant (WSG) funded project. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), American Iron and Steel (AIS), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. All CONTRACTORS are required to adhere to Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) M/WBE requirements for M/WBE participation. The right is reserved as the interest of the TOWN OF PITTSVILLE may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. The Town requires submission of a 5% Bid Bond with each Bidder's Bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Base Bid will be required from the successful Bidder
