This is a Sources Notice. This Notice is Issued for Market Research Purposes Only. This is Not a Solicitation or Invitation for Offerors to Submit Bids. a Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action Will Be Posted at a Later Date Which Will Provide Instructions for Bidders to Respond to This Opportunity. Please Read All Information Contained Herein Before Responding. Please Do Not Respond to This Notice if You Are Not Seriously Interested and if You Do Not Perform This Requirement as It Will Delay the Posting of the Solicitation Due to Further Market Research That Will Be Required. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of a solicitation for the of a firm-fixed price construction contract for a project titled "Pharmacy Clean Room" at the Federal Medical Center (FMC Lexington) in Lexington, Kentucky. FMC Lexington is a Federal Medical Center at 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40511. The work to be performed in association with this project includes, but not to the following . Pharmacy Clean Room 1) The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation and certification of a prefabricated, clean room enclosure in compliance with USP 797 and the update of current infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire suppression, etc.) for the support of new enclosure. Pharmacy clean room suite with approximate size dimensions of 10 feet width x 20 feet depth will be installed in an established area on the first floor of "B" building. Contractor to verify all utilities and measurements. USP 797 clean room suites will need to meet the standards and specifications contained within the USP 797 chapter. These rooms must include an anteroom and buffer room at a minimum. Items to be included in the anteroom and buffer rooms will be identified in the statement of work, which will be provided at a later date. Access to the specifications and drawings attachments will require an active vendor registration at https://SAM.gov as well as your Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) associated with your SAM registration. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated of the project lies between $250,000 and $500,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a corresponding small business size standard of $45.0 million. To be considered an interested vendor, you must possess this NAICS code in your SAM.gov registration. Interested bidders must be registered in the SAM at www.SAM.gov. The FBOP is seeking small business contractors for this project. Your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above. Interested small business contractors are requested to respond to this notice by adding their names to the Interested Vendors List for this posting on the SAM website at https://SAM.gov. You must be logged in to your vendor account in order to access the Interested Vendors List. Please add your business name only if you are interested in submitting a bid as a Prime contractor and are capable and eligible to compete for and perform this project. This notice is intended only for those who would be entering into a Prime contract with the FBOP for the entirety of the project. The FBOP does not subcontracts. Subcontracts (if applicable/necessary) are the responsibility of the Prime contractor. The FBOP has no privity of contract with subcontractors. A Market Research Questionnaire has been attached to this notice. Please complete the document in its entirety and return to the address listed in the document. The pre-solicitation synopsis of proposed contract action (to be posted at a later date) will include further instructions for responding to this opportunity. Interested bidders are advised to continuously monitor www.SAM.gov for all future updates. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) - Facility Department is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The FBOP anticipates a single solicitation will be issued to complete a (Pharmacy Clean Room). The FBOP, FMC Lexington located 3301 Leestown Road, Lexington, Kentucky, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to complete a pharmacy clean room at FMC Lexington. This market research questionnaire is for information purposes only. The statement of work will provide detailed information for the requirement at a later date. The project has a period of 238 calendar days. The described requirement and specifications are subject to change. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
