This project will be an unrestricted acquisition to Renovate Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) facilities at Fort Cavazos, Texas. . The Magnitude of Construction is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The project scope encompasses several key elements, including a partial renovation of the Barracks to redesign the floorplan and bring room sizes up to the current standard, with the intent to retain exterior walls to the greatest extent possible. The project will also address associated parking lots and site improvements where needed. In Central Energy Plant Building 91227, there is a need to replace the Motor Control Cabinet (MCC) and upgrade lighting to LED technology. Furthermore, the project includes the installation of a comprehensive fire protection and mass notification system throughout the building. Upon completion, the facility will offer 350 living/sleeping rooms, all in the form of 2-bedroom suites, with each bedroom meeting minimum size requirements and shared kitchenettes equipped with induction cooktops and space for GFCI convection microwave ovens. Exterior site improvements aim to enhance the quality of life for soldiers and provide extracurricular opportunities, all while ensuring that all project components meet applicable Army, Federal, and Code Requirements for safety and compliance.
