Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pickering, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of April 4,2024 has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) rehabilitation of stage 3 liquids and miscellaneous remedial works. Bidders who prequalified under Region of Durham Request for Prequalification RFPQ-1002-2023 Prequalification of General Contractors for the Duffin Creek stage 3 liquids and miscellaneous remedial works project shall be considered for contract award. Project Description: - The Receipt, Storage, Handling, installation, Testing, Commissioning and placing into service of pre-purchased equipment from pre-Purchases Equipment Vendors by the Durham Region. - The description of the Work is not, nor is it intended to be, complete and all-inclusive. The Contract Documents shall be read by the Contractor as a whole in determining the scope of Work. - The Contract includes miscellaneous upgrades across the plant site to maintain infrastructure in a state of good repair. - The Work listed below shall include the provision and installation of all equipment. Installation of all equipment supplied under this Contract shall include testing and commissioning. - In general, the Work in each building/treatment process area consists of but is not limited to the work described in the attachment to this section (01 11 00-01 Scope of Work Map). - Each Section of the Specifications is not necessarily complete. - The Contractor shall read each Section in conjunction with all the other Contract Documents. The Contractor shall also ensure that Subcontractors read the relevant documents and comply with the requirements of the Contract. - The Contractor shall generally perform the Work according to the suggested sequence of construction and within the construction constraints provided in Section 01 52 10.
