No definite date for the rebid.** Project Number - CIP# SW-936-23 The work to be done consists of the following generally described items: The proposed project includes construction of a new 24-inch force main from Lift Station 193 (Little Neck Road) to the western side of Interstate I-95. The total of approximately 26,000 linear feet (LF) of the proposed force main shall be installed parallel to the existing 16-inch force main, primarily along and within the Savannah & Ogeechee (S&O) Canal right-of-way. Additionally, work includes approximately 8,000 linear feet of force main installed via horizontal directional drill (HDD) method (24-inch and 30-inch FPVC and HDPE) with approximately 3,200 linear feet of 24-inch fusible PVC (FPVC) under Little Ogeechee River. The scope also includes connections to the existing force main near Lift Station 193 on Little Neck Road and at I-95 and all material, labor, and incidentals to complete the project. Lift Station 193 Force Main The Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Provisions will be evaluated, and those bids found to be in compliance with the DBE Provisions shall be opened and read aloud at 1:30 PM on December 26, 2023. Project scheduling, coordination requirements, minority participation, and questions of interpretation will be addressed at this time.
