The City of El Centro ("the City") is inviting bids for the Community Development Block Grant Facade Improvement Program located in the 400-700 blocks of Main Street, El Centro, California. The work involves painting the facades of various businesses located in downtown El Centro on Main Street between 4th Street and 8th Street. Some of the sites will also require minor patch and stucco work prior to painting. The specific locations and detailed work description have been provided on the Bid Proposal Form. Payment of not less than minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications is required. The salary and wage for any classification shall be the current applicable Federal wage rates or the state wage rates, whichever is higher. To be completed within forty five (45) calendar days after the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. All days set out in this Bid Packet are calendar days unless otherwise specified. The contractor shall possess a Class C-33 license at the time this contract is awarded.
