Renovation of a restaurant in Fort Riley, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a restaurant.
This project will renovate the interior of an existing Burger King and add a double drive-thru. Mechanical and electrical systems will be modified to meet Burger King's food equipment requirements. Finish will be replaced to meet Burger King's trade dress/branding standards. PN: 3212-23-000001 Question Deadline 12/14/2023 Any questions you may have after comparing the plans and specifications to the existing site conditions should be submitted in writing to GRACE PEREZ-MARTINEZ at martinezg@aafes.com The work to be performed in connection with this project includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. The project consists of all materials and labors to upgrade the existing Burger King according to the latest "Garden Grill' Burger King standards as approved by Burger King and the EXCHANGE with a limited scope. 2. BUILDING EXTERIOR AND SITE a. Modify existing exterior materials, including brick, cmu, stucco, doors, windows, and lighting, as required for new exterior design elements. b. Repair, refresh, or replace existing canopies to meet current BK image standards. c. Site work around the building, including paving and landscape: i. Replace clearance bar, directional signage, and OCU canopy with current Garden Grill image at existing drive-through. ii. Clean and refresh exterior digital menu boards at existing drivethrough. iii. Add dual drive-through lane and install required clearance bar, signage, OCU canopy, and digital menu board. iv. Trash enclosure painted to match new building materials and finishes. v. Seal and stripe parking lot. vi. Paint bollards. d. Construct/modify existing 'tower' and install Nichiha finish. e. Replace existing drive through windows. f. Paint to match current specifications. g. Renovate existing Aluminum windows and storefront system as required. h. Upgrade exterior lighting to LED fixtures. i. Replace Building Signage with new current standard signage. j. Replace Door hardware if it does not comply with current BK standards BUILDING INTERIOR: a. Replace all light fixtures, including emergency lighting and exit signage. b. Replace all finishes in the dining room. c. Kitchen equipment is existing and is to remain except as noted to be replaced on the equipment plan. d. Provide power and cable connections for flat screen tv in Dining room. e. Replace all furniture (Seating Concepts design). f. Repair and repaint soffit with recessed lights above the front service counter. g. Renovate existing toilet rooms, including new plumbing fixtures. Use existing plumbing supply and sanitary lines, vents, etc. as possible. h. Bring any non-ADA compliant toilets into compliance. i. Existing vent hoods and exhaust fans are be replaced. Paint as required. j. Upgrade existing fire sprinkler system if required. (Fire Protection Engineering services not included in base scope and fee) k. Upgrade existing fire alarm system if required. (Fire Protection Engineering services not included in base scope and fee) l. Existing Ansul system to remain. m. Existing grease interceptor to remain. n. Existing electrical panels and equipment to be reused. o. Replace or re-laminate interior doors. p. Ceiling treatment Per Seating Concepts design
