Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement, on behalf of Arts and Culture Management invites your company to bid on providing and removing damaged doors identified by Rose Wagner and Salt Lake County Facilities Management team. Remove and dispose of identified doors located on all levels in building. Vendor will remove and save all hardware (closers, hinges, locksets, kickplates, etc.) to be reinstalled on new doors. New doors will be made of matching wood, stain, and fire rating of existing doors. Door trim detail will be added to the noted doors. Vendor will measure for hinge and latch placement. All doors will be of wood finish varying in sizes and hardware. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided with this solicitation. Failure to use prescribed forms, including the bid and pricing schedules, will result in the disqualification of the bid submitted by the bidder. Question Submission Close Date:11/22/2023 12:00 PM MST Purchases will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest cost including delivery. County will determine the low bidder based upon the bid price on the attached bid schedule. Salt Lake County may reject any or all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the County. Verbal statements or information given at a pre-bid conference is not binding on the bidder or the County unless released in a Bid Addendum. A full warranty that covers all parts and labor and workmanship for a period of at least 1 year on parts and labor. Bidder shall have a service facility and personnel authorized to perform warranty work on the unit being bid and maintain a parts inventory for that unit. Facility must be located within 25 miles of Salt Lake County Landfill. Parts stock, facilities and certifications may be inspected prior to awarding bid. The awarded bidder will remove and dispose of all identified doors and will remove and save all hardware to be re-installed on new doors. If hardware is not usable, it must be replaced by the awarded bidder with an exact match or approved replacement parts by owner. Wood type and stain color is to be matched with existing doors. Install dates must be worked out with the owner to work around on-going performances.
