Reference Number 00004184839 Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to extend the contract with Pinchin for their services as the Hazardous Building Materials Assessment Service for the Richmond Hospital Redevelopment - Rotunda Building & FMO Trailer Demolition. The maximum value of this contract extension will be $72,200 - plus tax. VCH has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons: • Pinchin Ltd. has been providing Abatement Consulting services for the site and project since September 2023. • Project Demolition work is 80% complete. • Pinchin Ltd. has established working relationships with the Richmond Hospital project team and broad stakeholders. • Pinchin Ltd. has knowledge of Richmond Hospital site and existing infrastructure. • Pinchin Ltd. is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations. Pinchin Ltd. has Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $2,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage. • Pinchin Ltd. has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all non-owned vehicles in an amount not less than $ 2,000,000.00. • Pinchin Ltd. has Professional Errors and Omissions Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $1,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence.
