Site work and paving for a civil project in Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

As of February 7, 2024, this project was not awarded. No definite date for the rebid. The work is to include all labor and materials to install a UL142, 500-gallon steel fuel tank for diesel fuel. The tank shall have minimum openings on the top of the tank to accept: fueling system, delivery drop (fill) with cap, emergency vent, up-draft vent and a tank gauge. All materials and piping shall be supplied by contractor. Contractor is required to provide an approved AST tank, explosion proof electrical wiring, venting and lighting. Luzerne County is providing the electric pump, meter and hose. The County will also provide a LED vapor proof light fixture to be incorporated into the project. The Contractor is required to connect all County provided materials for a turn-key operation. All wiring inside the fuel dog-house shall be explosion proof. Fuel facility wiring shall be connected through the E-Stop on the back outside corner of the garage. Contractor shall follow current PA codes for all installations. Contractor shall make minor repairs to the dog-house which includes doors, roof and sills. All vendors and contractors may be required to submit a Performance Bond for any proposal over ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) to Luzerne County Purchasing upon contract award. When a Performance Bond is required the amount of the performance bond will be fifty percent (50%) of the total cost of the proposal or bid submitted. With respect to successful responders that are permitted to provide certified checks, cashier's checks and/or may be cashed and retained by Luzerne County pending the responder's full and faithful performance of the RFP.
