The City of La Mirada is responsible for the routine cleaning of the inside and outside of City facility windows. The City of La Mirada is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the routine cleaning of facility windows. The term of any agreement following this bidding process shall be three (3) years effective for the calendar years commencing 2024 and terminating 2027, unless sooner terminated as provided therein. The contract may be extended by the City for two (2) optional, one (1)-year extensions. The City shall have the right to terminate any agreement awarded for any or no reason provided, however, that the successful bidder shall be paid for all work performed to the date of termination. The City reserves the right to further negotiate the terms and conditions of the agreement. The City preserves the right to reject any proposal for noncompliance with contract requirements and provisions, or to not award an agreement because of unforeseen circumstances, or if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City. This project will be awarded based on demonstrated ability and performance providing similar services at a fair and reasonable cost. This contract may not be awarded to the lowest bidder. The successful bidder must be legally authorized to provide all services specified in this Request for Proposal. The successful bidder shall obtain a City of La Mirada Business License.
