Scope of Work: Design activities include survey, quantity calculation, cost estimates, and final construction plans and specifications for bidding. Construction engineering services to ensure proper adherence to completed design and construction specifications. The awarded consultant will conduct design and construction engineering services per McKenzie County requirements for chip seal, crack seal, fog seal, and pavement marking construction. The project scope and budget will be tracked and McKenzie County will be notified of any potential changes. Additional services, if required, may be negotiated and supplemental agreements issued based on the consultant's performance, the consultant's proposal and available funding. All work shall be performed to McKenzie County standards and procedures. The McKenzie County Road and Bridge Department will engage the services of a qualified consulting engineering firm (Consultant) to perform design engineering, construction engineering, and affiliated services to complete the following project: 2024 Chip Seal 16th Street NE in Watford City - approximately 0.5 miles County Road 16 - approximately 19.6 miles County Road 31 - approximately 13.0 miles County Road 53 - approximately 14.3 miles County Road 14 - approximately 8.4 miles As of March 18, 2025, the project is completed. The firm construction and completion timeline were not released.
