Plans call for a new membrane filtration building at the City's Water Filtration Plant (WFP) located in Bedford, Pennsylvania. The City currently uses conventional filtration in a building that has been renovated since being originally commissioned in 1913. The facility is currently permitted to provide 15 MGD to the City's water customers though they typically average between 4MGD and 6MGD. As of November 25, 2025, this project is still acquiring funding. Further details regarding construction and completion timeline have not been determined.
