Site work for a water / sewer project in Vernon, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The installation of approximately 450 m of 500 mm of PVC Effluent Main and 750 mm of PVC Irrigation Main along Commonage Road adjacent to the City of Vernon’s Compost Facility at 551/563 Commonage Road and Rose's Pond. The two existing mains (effluent and irrigation) have reached the end their service life and are required to be replaced. The Work can be briefly summarized as follows: The installation of approximately 450 m of 500 mm of PVC Effluent Main along Commonage Road adjacent to the City of Vernon’s Compost Facility at 551/563 Commonage Road and Rose’s Pond. The installation of approximately 450 m 750 mm of PVC Irrigation Main along Commonage Road adjacent to the City of Vernon’s Compost Facility at 551/563 Commonage Road and Rose’s Pond. Replacement of Service connections to Compost Facility including flush valves, check valves, and gate valves. Localized well-point dewatering near the entrance of the composite facility. Localized trench dewatering Support of existing utility poles Restoration of 900 m2 of asphalt restoration.
