Draper City is seeking a contractor to demolish the existing kitchen from one of our fire stations and install a new one. Interior design or decorating Residential building construction services including general residential construction contractor services and new residential construction and remodel services Question Deadline 12/04/2023 at 5:00 PM MT A. The primary purpose of the RFP is to remodel the kitchen at Fire Station 22. This includes
removal and disposal of existing kitchen, flooring and countertops. Creating and designing the
kitchen remodel to allow the Station more storage and usable space.
B. Station 22 is one of three Draper City Fire Department (DCFD) stations. Built in 2003 and
utilized by the Unified Fire Authority (UFA) for 14 years until Draper City started its own
department, the current kitchen is the original kitchen from when the station was built and
housed 5 firefighters on a daily basis. DCFD currently houses 21 firefighters split into three
crews (7 firefighters daily) and needs the kitchen to be able to accommodate the additional
firefighters and withstand extensive use similar to a commercial-grade facility. DCFD provides
fire, paramedic and emergency services to the city of Draper and surrounding cities.
C. Draper City ("City") is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals and companies
("Contractor") in the demolition, designing and construction of Station 22 kitchen remodel. For
this project, the Contractor will be coordinating with our facilities department on the details
once the contract is awarded.
D. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the conditions outlined in this Request for
Proposals ("RFP").
E. Contractors are responsible for having proposals submitted on time at the place specified and
assume all risks of late delivery. Late submittals shall not be accepted.
F. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received.
