A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Construction Duration: 105 days after NTP Each proposal must be accompanied by the required amount of bid security in the form of bank draft or certified check, payable at sight to the SUNY Maritime College and drawn on a bank authorized to do business in the United States, or by a Bid Bond, by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company or companies, approval by SUNY Maritime, authorized to do business in the State of New York as a surety. Attorneys-in-fact who execute a Bid Bond on behalf of surety must affix thereto a certified and effectively dated copy of their power of appointment. Bid Security must be 5% (Five Percent) of the Bid amount. The bidder submits herewith bid security in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, and labor to execute the work outlined in the contract documents and attached specs and drawings enclosed in this package. The selected contractor must have at least 5 years of experience with sitework, site renovations, and the equipment required to perform the work. The proposed site renovation includes grading, demo, new pavement, paver installation, granite curbs, curb cut, exterior concrete stairs, plantings, river stone and all related site work as indicated on the following drawings. Any work initiated by successful bidder outside the scope of this contract without prior appropriate authorization documented by a fully executed SUNY Maritime College purchase order shall be done so at successful bidder's own risk.
