Deadline for Questions 11/20/2023 by 10:00 AM Issue Responses to Questions (estimate) 11/28/2023 It is the intent of the District to award a multi-term contract to one, or multiple offerors for the initial contract period, to begin on award date and end one year later. The contract may be extended by mutual agreement of both parties for an additional four (4) years, in single year increments. Additionally, at the recommendation of Procurement Officer, a contract may be extended beyond the initial cumulative five (5) year period, for an additional two (2) years, with the approval of the BCSD Board of Education ESTIMATED: Start date: January 23, 2024. End date: January 22, 2029. Dates provided are estimates only. Any resulting contract will begin on the date specified in the notice of award. A bid is materially unbalanced when it is based on prices significantly less than cost for some work and prices which are significantly overstated in relation to cost for other work, and if there is a reasonable doubt that the bid will result in the lowest overall cost to the District even though it may be the low evaluated bid, or if it is so unbalanced as to be tantamount to allowing an advance payment.
