The Lakeville Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids under the guidelines established by Indiana Code Section 36-1-12-4. SCOPE OF WORK: Bidding Company shall provide Weekly Collection, Transportation, and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste ("Trash") and; Every Other Week Collection, Transportation and Processing of Recycling Materials ("Recycling") from all occupied, single family dwelling units within the TOWN of LAKEVILLE. Estimated 268 dwelling units. Bidding Company will supply 96 Gallon Trash Carts and 96 Gallon Recycling Carts to participating households. Trash Carts and Recycling Carts will be owned by Bidding Company. Service is limited to contents of cart. Bidding Company will provide the above listed services for free to: The Town of Lakeville Town Hall, Maintenance Garage, Police Station, 3 Parks and Lakeville Fire Station, and Lakeville Community Center "The Barn", plus 6 trash cans on Main St. (8 total free units + 6 free trash cans to the town). The above services to be provided for a period of not more than 3 years. A more detailed bid description is available, will be kept on file at the Lakeville Town Hall, and will be attached to each bid form. Bids must include an affidavit that meets the specifications of Indiana Code Section 36-1-12-4(b)(12). All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the proposed offer, proof of insurance, and a commitment to obtain a performance bond in the amount of $16,460.68 if the offeror's bid is chosen as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The bond shall be made payable to the Town of Lakeville. This evidence of financial responsibility must be provided in order to be considered a "responsible" bidder. Bids must also include any other documentation and information stated in the bid specifications on file.
