The City of Southlake is seeking proposals from qualified vendor(s) for the repair and maintenance of the City's existing wayfinding (refenced as type A wayfinding signage, type B wayfinding signage, and type C (stone base design) and event signage (type D), including the fabrication and installation of new panels for the existing wayfinding signage and possible fabrication of 15 new wayfinding or event signs. The City of Southlake is seeking proposals from qualified vendor(s) for the repair and maintenance of the City's existing wayfinding (refenced as type A wayfinding signage, type B wayfinding signage, and type C (stone base design) and event signage (type D), including the fabrication and installation of new panels for the existing wayfinding signage and possible fabrication of 15 new wayfinding or event signs. The City has approximately 52 wayfinding and 20 event signs currently located in the City. The signage was installed mainly between 2010 and 2015 and wayfinding and event signage requires maintenance and repair. Damaged signs have varying levels of repair. Some signs will likely be able to be repaired in the field. Some repairs will require signs to be removed. On a yearly basis, the City expects to allocate approximately $50,000 towards the maintenance and replacement project. The City will provide the selected vendor a repair, maintenance and fabrication schedule at the beginning of each fiscal year (October). The vendor must receive all required approvals from TXDOT prior to any repair work commencing within TXDOT's right of way or installing new signage in TXDOT right of way. Much of the contract is expected to focus primarily on the maintenance and repair of existing signage. See Attachments A, B, and C for further information.
