Renovation of a power facility in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. Design plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

installation and commissioning of new pressure relief wells and decommissioning of existing pressure relief wells at Nipawin and E.B. Campbell Hydroelectric Power Stations. The purpose of pressure relief well system is to relieve pressure from the Sewan River bedrock aquifer. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Scope of work includes the drilling of wells, confirming well design details through geotechnical analyses and pumping tests, and design of well head pumps, piping, power supply, monitoring, and enclosures. Wells shall be installed and completed with temporary well heads as part of this Work. The installation and commissioning of the permanent well heads, discharge piping, instrumentation, and electrical components, and well sheds and foundations shall be performed by others. Timelines for tender and construction may be confirmed fall 2024. *Budget is unknown.
