Site work for a water / sewer project in Avon, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Avon Lake Regional Water & The City of Avon s joint project to install a 12-inch water main along Miller Road, under existing railroad tracks by horizontal bore. This project will include existing water main abandonment and coordination with the railroad and various utility companies. A bid bond payable to the City of Avon Lake, Ohio in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid less alternates, pursuant to Revised Code Section 153.54 as a guarantee, shall accompany the bid to ensure that if a contract is awarded it will be duly entered into and secured. The bid bonds of unsuccessful bidders will be returned promptly on the award of a contract to the successful bidder. Avon Lake Regional Water, acting through the Board of Municipal Utilities, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bid at the discretion of said Board. All questions shall be submitted via Bid Express and Avon Lake Regional Water will respond in writing. All questions shall be directed to Avon Lake Regional Water, Engineering Services Manager.
