Site work for an educational facility in Becker, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
As of February 9th, 2024 this project is pending an award decision. The project consists of a single prime work scope for the work relating to the demolition of existing metal roof system and installation of new roofing system. 1. Reroof Project Conditions - Standing Seam Metal Roofing a. Remove the existing standing seam roof assembly, flashings (including soffit panels) down to the existing foil face insulation. b. Inspect the existing insulation and replace deficient areas per unit pricing (1500 sq/ft of insulation replacement to be included in the base bid) c. Fill all gaps and cracks at the ridge, valleys, hips and roof to wall transitions with expanding foam insulation. d. ALTERNATE #1 - Install one layer of 1.5" foil-face polyisocyanurate insulation over the existing insulation assembly. e. Cover the entire roof surface with self-adhering high temperature underlayment. f. Install the standing seam roof assembly per manufacturers requirements (utilizing a bearing plate at all clip locations) per project details, installation requirements and as existing conditions dictate. g. A single roof panel is to be used from eave/valley to hip/ridge. h. Seal all junctions between metal flashings and dissimilar surfaces with urethane sealant. i. Install new gutters, downspouts and heat tape to match existing sizing and locations. j. Furnish manufacturer's 30-year total system warranty as specified.
