Go for 0.3 mi: Take the 1st exit from roundabout onto 93rd Ave SW. Go for 0.4 mi; Turn left onto Blomberg St SW. Go for 0.1 mi.: 9701 Blomberg St. SW is on your right. Drive through gate and turn right and park at office building at end of driveway. Bidders will be charged a fee of $42.00 to submit a bid electronically. The Proposed Project Consists of a New One (1) Story Shop / Office Building for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources in Olympia WA. This Facility Will Include a Break Room, Extraction Room, Processing Room, Freezer Room, (2) Restrooms, Mechanical and I.T. Rooms. Includes (7) Parking Spaces The project consists of the construction of a new one-story seed center building for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (Owner) located at 9701 Blomberg St. SW. Olympia, WA. 98512, as described in the construction documents prepared by DNR, together with their consultants. The facility includes a (2) processing rooms, an extractor room, freezer room, interior compressor room, exterior compressor space, dust collector space, fire sprinkler riser room, mechanical room, I.T. room, break room, and restrooms. The Work includes construction of a new Pre-Engineered Metal Building (Type II-A) Single Story 15,774 square feet seed center building. Construction is standard metal framing with concrete slab on grade and standard foundations, together with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Site work includes installation of an infiltration trench, and piping, utilities, and new concrete paving. The removal of an existing 2,500 square feet single story wood frame storage building will take place prior to make room for the construction of the new building. Vehicle access will remain from existing access points. Onsite sewer, water, electricity, gas, and phone services are available. The estimated cost of the project is $5,061,000, and the required substantial completion date is January 31, 2025. The project is located at 9701 Blomberg St. SW. Olympia, WA. 98512 Within existing resources, awarding agencies are responsible for monitoring apprenticeship utilization hours by contractor. There must be a specific line item in the contract specifying that apprenticeship utilization goals should be met, monetary incentives for meeting the goals, monetary penalties for not meeting the goals, and an expected cost value to be included in the bid associated with meeting the goals. The awarding agency must report the apprenticeship utilization by contractor and subcontractor to the supervisor of apprenticeship at the department of labor and industries by final project acceptance. The electronic reporting system that is being developed by the department of labor and industries may be used for either or both monitoring and reporting apprenticeship utilization hours.
