Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Build new HUB Room, including installing new CRAC units and UPS units that have been ordered under a separate contract. Work scope includes installing walls, fire suppression systems, electrical connections, and other related work. 2. New HUB Room (approximately 3,200sf) within the existing Data Center on 5th Floor of COB. Existing data center is being downsized by MNiT, with some equipment and functions being moved offsite by MNiT. 3. Work will occur while existing data center continues to operate and serve the state's vital functions. Careful coordination with MNiT personnel to maintain data center integrity is crucial to the success of this project. Work includes interior remodeling of multiple floors and a canopy & related work at the loading dock. Bids will be accepted for Bid Packages as described in the specifications for package requirements. The scopes of Work are as follows: 02 - General; 08A - Windows; 09A - Framing Drywall Plaster; 09B - ACT Ceilings; 09C - Flooring; 09D - Paint and Stain; 22 - Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning; 26 - Electrical, Communications, and Security. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 12-8-2023.
