Spring Independent School District is seeking proposals from qualified vendors and suppliers for Fire Alarm Inspection Parts and Services for use by the Maintenance Department. The aim is to ensure an environment that facilitates minimal interruptions to the daily focus of educators and students. The inspection and services will be provided primarily during nonscheduled school hours, focusing on the summer period but may include evenings and weekends. The Request for Proposal is divided into three independent sections- Annual Fire Alarm Inspections, Fire Alarm Parts, and Fire Alarm Services. Vendors are encouraged to complete the sections that align with the goods or services they provide. There are no restrictions on the number of sections any one company may bid. The District anticipates awarding multiple vendors for this RFP. SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS Below is a list of the services requested by the District. In addition to this guidance, detailed specifications are listed for each service and products under the 'Line Items' tab of the online bidding system: Fire Alarm Inspections o Test Fire Alarm Sensors and Detectors o Test Alarm Audibility o Sounder Devices o Alert Devices o Evaluate Power Supply and Battery Backup Systems Fire Alarm Services o Verify Control Panel functionality o Address False Alarms o Troubleshoot common Issues Question Cutoff Date: 11/30/2023 01:00 PM If the award recommendation is approved, the initial term of this contract ("Contract") will be for one (1) year from February 14, 2024, through February 13, 2025. Thereafter, the District reserves the right to either renew the contract annually for up to four (4) additional one-year terms ("Renewal Terms") or to extend the contract on a month-to-month basis to prevent a lapse in the contract term until the District re-bids the Contract. Total estimated value of this contract is greater than $50,000 annually, depending on the District's needs over the contract period
