Paramount Pump Station Improvements - Cary. Construction of the new 1.0 MGD submersible wastewater lift station and influent piping, connection to the existing 6-inch ductile iron force main, and demolition of the existing lift station. All electrical and instrumentation work associated with improvements. Associated earthwork, erosion control, seeding, drainage, access roadways, and other site work improvements. Any required temporary services including but not limited to bypass pumping, temporary primary and backup power supply, and temporary controls required to keep the existing pump station operational during construction, diversion of flow during startup, and the initial operation/commissioning period shall be provided by the Contractor at no additional expense to the Owner. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Town of Cary for an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid; or in lieu of the Bid Bond, the bidder may offer the bid deposit in the form of a cashier's check, or a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Town of Cary, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Bidders shall provide certification that performance and payment bond sureties are licensed in North Carolina.
