Reference Number 0000336122 City of Jackson hereby invites businesses who meet the qualifications and specifications set forth herein to submit Quotes for asbestos abatement, demolition of residential buildings and accessory structures, and site restoration at various locations throughout the City of Jackson. Questions are submitted online No, Questions about this invitation to quote should be directed to Shelly Allard, Purchasing Coordinator, (517)768.6401, sallard@cityofjackson.org. *The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or technicalities in the bids. 1) Hazardous materials must be abated in accordance with MIOSHA and DEQ regulations and the attached Pre-Demolition Compliance Survey assessment. 2) Compact all clean backfill material with a hoe-pack or vibrating roller compactor. 3) Remove _ _0_ curb(s) cut(s) and entry approach(s). (0 lineal feet)*** Alley to W** 4) Install _ __0_ lineal feet of curb and gutter. Note if clean edge cannot be provided upon removal of curb, road will need to be overcut 18-24" to allow for forming of curb and then road hot patched upon completion due to conditions of road. 5) Remove and replace _ 36 lineal feet _of cracked, heaved and broken public sidewalks. (raise grade through walk to allow to cover tree roots and provide positive slope to ROW area) 6) See enclosed water and sewer service records for approximate location and any special instructions for shared services. If no service card is provided it is the contractor's responsibility to insure that neighboring water and sewer services are operational at the conclusion of the demolition. 7) Trees/shrubs: Remove hedge row to W, 2 pine trees to N, all brush and saplings along S fence lines and any brush from site. Plant 8 arborvitae trees evenly spaced along W alley and 2- 2 1/2 " caliper maple trees in yard area and 1- 2 1/2 " caliper Cleveland Pear Tree in ROW area 8) Miscellaneous: Regrade full property area and ROW to finish conditions. Provide clean edge along W gravel alley and repair any damage to alley incurred during demolition
