This quote shall be to furnish and deliver generators at three (3) of the City's critical infrastructures. This includes a generator and fuel tank at the Park Lift Station site, a generator, fuel tank and automatic transfer switch at the Waste Water Treatment Plant site and a generator and automatic transfer switch at the Police Station Annex site. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety company shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to City of Port Neches, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The Contractor shall also meet and abide by the attached 2 CFR 200.326 and 2 CFR Part 200, Appendix II, Required Contract Clauses. This document is hereby made a part of this quote. Bids may be held by the City of Port Neches, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds. The right is reserved by the City of Port Neches, Texas, as its interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received.
