The work of this single bid project includes the replacement of the HVAC systems that serve a portion of the basement, first and second floors of the building (approx. 21,300 sq. ft.) including replacement of air distribution system (ductwork, VAV boxes, controls, etc.), hydronic distribution system (reheat, fin tube, chilled water, etc.), replace existing air handling unit (XAC-2), replace existing return fan, replace four exhaust fans, replace existing ACT ceilings and lighting at areas to facilitate access to mechanical work, replace electrical systems supporting mechanical equipment. Scope of work includes abatement of hazardous materials. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
