The Municipality of the County of Inverness seeks contractors for the removal and replacement of the existing digester walkway at the Cheticamp Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The work to be completed under this contract includes but is not limited to the removal of the existing steel walkways and platforms, including all existing hoists, cranes, handrails, kickplates, gratings, wood members, supporting steel members, and miscellaneous items on, attached or associated with the existing steel walkways and platforms. The new walkway will provide safe access to the digester for wastewater operators for all ongoing operation and maintenance requirements.
