The project consists of grinding of vegetative land clearing debris including, but not limited to brush, limbs, stumps, and leaves. Grinding to take place at the Lee County Resource Management Facility at 331 Landfill Road, Sanford, NC 27330. Lee County is requesting an informal bid for grinding of vegetative land clearing debris located at the Resource Management Facility located at 331 Landfill Road, Sanford, NC 27330. The project consists of grinding of vegetative land clearing debris including, but not limited to brush, limbs, stumps, and leaves. Grinding to take place at the Lee County Resource Management Facility at 331 Landfill Road, Sanford, NC 27330. Bids must include: Grinding to take place at the Resource Management Facility. Mulch produced shall be no larger than 2". Grinding of approximately 500 tons of vegetative land clearing debris including, but not necessarily limited to brush, limbs, stumps and leaves. Any tonnage over the initial tons shall be ground at the rate contained in bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, any part of a bid, or to waive informalities and technicalities in the bidding procedure. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of opening. Lee County reserves the right to cancel this order, or any part thereof, at any time without penalty. Such cancellation may be based upon failure of the Seller to comply with the terms and conditions of this transaction, failure to perform the work with promptness and diligence, failure to make shipment within the time specified, or for any other reason which causes the Seller not to perform as agreed.
