The Work consists of the installation of approximately 14,800 linear feet of 24-inch inside diameter Pressure Class 350 ductile iron pipe, fiber optic conduit, isolation valves, air valves, blow-offs, bends, fittings, connections, and related waterline appurtenances. Work also consists of the installation of a cathodic protection system, appurtenances, and all other work as shown and required by the Contract Documents. The Site of the Work location is in the Garnet Valley basin, north of the Las Vegas valley, starting with a northern connection to the water supply line at the intersection of Apex Power Parkway and US93, and follows Apex Power Parkway south approximately 3 miles to the point of connection at the intersection of Apex Power Parkway and the future Rate of Flow Control Station (ROFCS). The Work consists of the construction in a fairly undeveloped area for approximately 3 miles of 16-inch ductile iron pipeline in the mainly dirt road of Apex Power Parkway in the Garnet Valley basin. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including, without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder.
