Bain Well Plant Improvements consisting of the removal of existing pump and motor equipment; disconnection and removal of all electrical components and any other components from the existing shed; demolition of the existing pump shed and foundation; removal of existing yard piping, valves, check valves; construction of new concrete slab with electrical preparation for the pump station; installation of new pump and motor provided by the City; installation of new Polar Shed or approved equal with electrical stub outs; installation of new yard and pump station piping, valves, check valves, fittings; connection to water distribution system and Ground Storage Tank; replacement of electrical services, panels, control box breaker receptacles and appurtenances in newly installed shed; reinstallation of SCADA Controls; testing of equipment, piping and appurtenances for a fully functional water well plant. The City of Devine reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. A BID BOND in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the BID BOND.
