Renovation of a medical facility in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to proceed with the re-piping Domestic Hot Water and Domestic Cold Water piping to repair a leak on Level 3 West (3W) of the Lions Gate Hospital Acute Tower The work includes demolition of existing domestic water piping, supply and install of new domestic water piping and insulation, all required access hatches in the 3W ceiling space, and all necessary hoarding/infection control measures while preforming work in the LGH 3W clinical space. VCH has chosen to direct award the contract for the following reasons: Trotter and Morton Building Technologies Inc. is prequalified with VCH to provide mechanical services and has been providing mechanical services for this project, which will help maintain the flow of the project. Trotter and Morton Building Technologies Inc. has established working relationships with the LGH Acute Tower Facility Maintenance and Operations team, and has built knowledge of the site and its existing infrastructure. Trotter and Morton Building Technologies Inc. can start work immediately to repair the leak, replace the compromised pipes and complete the work in a timely manner that will have the smallest impact on the facility and its residents. Trotter and Morton Building Technologies Inc. is registered and compliant with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations. Trotter and Morton Building Technologies Inc. has Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage. Trotter and Morton Building Technologies Inc. has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all non-owned vehicles in an amount not less than $ 2,000,000.00. Provide proof showing your ability to meet the requirements and project timeline defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified mechanical contractors will be reviewed
