Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Georgetown, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Georgetown County is seeking sealed bids to include site preparation and paving for a new apron and connecting taxilane for the Allison hangar. Work includes erosion control, installation, grading, aggregate base course placement, bituminous paving (SCDOT Type B), seeding, and mulching. See bid document and drawings for full details. The Allison Hangar Apron and Taxilane Paving project at the Georgetown County Airport includes site preparation and paving for a new apron and connecting taxi lane for the Allison hangar. Work elements include erosion control installation, grading, aggregate base course placement, bituminous paving (SCDOT Bituminous Surface Course Type B ), seeding, and mulching. The project will be awarded to one Contractor in the best interests of Georgetown County, dependent on availability of local and state funding. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the required Conh.act will be executed within fifteen (15) days after receipt of written notice of formal award of Contract. The successful offeror must provide a Performance Bond from a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the State of South Carolina in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract amount, within fifteen (15) days the after receipt of written notice of formal award of the Contract. The successful offeror must provide a Payment and Material Bond from a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the State of South Carolina in the amount of 100 percent ( 100%) of the contract amount, within fifteen (15) days after receipt of written notice of formal award of Contract. GCPO reserves the right to reject or deny any requests made by the provider.
