Bids are requested by the LaSalle County Parks Department for a multi-use modular building with accompanying modular shelter Contract Type: One-Phase, Lump-Sum Purchase, Installation of one 1960 sf Mobil Modular designed modular building. Installed per manufactures specs including foundation/pilings, all utilities, and any accompanying services. Illinois Accessibility code compliance throughout including ramp(s) at main entrance and bathrooms. Purchase and Installation of one 1800 sf modular RCP Shelter, Inc. shelter per manufactures specs on concrete pad Installation of septic system for servicing modular building only Installation of approx. 100 ft of buried water line from well to building Installation of electric service from existing meter to modular building. Approx. 100 ft This bid is for purchase and installation of a modular building and an accompanying modular shelter at Catlin Park Southwest of Ottawa, IL. The building and shelter will be installed together as one project on two adjoining sites. All entrances to building must be Illinois Accessibility Code Compliant and will require ramps. The scope of the work is to include installation of a septic system, Illinois Municipal Code compliant, to service this site only. Site has existing well and will need a new water line installed from building to well. Foundation installation and site preparation per code and modular manufactures specs including all grading or ground prep. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a criminal background investigation for all employees involved in the project. Bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the acts of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois related to Wage Rates, Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Alcohol Use, Preference to Illinois Workmen, Fair Employment Practices Commission, and Equal Employment Opportunity. No Illinois O.E. Sales Tax will be required for this work. Per latest prevailing wage ordinance adopted by LaSalle County, the successful bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). All contractors bonds shall include a provision as will guarantee the faithful performance of such prevailing wage clause as provided by this bid specification or contract. Bidders shall provide certificate of insurance establishing compliance with LaSalle County Resolution No. 21-81 "A RESOLUTION UPDATING MINIMUM INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS" dated August 12, 2021. The successful bidder will be required to submit evidence of compliance with the "responsible bidder" criteria as defined in LaSalle County Board Resolution No. 00-184 "A RESOLUTION DEFINING RESPONSIBLE BIDDER", dated December 8, 1997, and Resolution No. 10-32 "AMENDING RESOLUTION DEFINING RESPONSIBLE BIDDER" dated February 11, 2010. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Act (Public Act 95-0635). LaSalle County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding, and to award contract in LaSalle County's best interests.
