Phase 1 Rework: Site Work: Remove, salvage, and reset nominal/minimal existing brick to correct excessive area of slope in accessible pathway from ADA parking area. New ADA compliant concrete paving, striping, and ADA symbols for (3) ADA parking spaces. Station Interior: Replace rear grab bar at men's room Replace women's room lavatory faucet with metering faucet to meet req's of DOTAS. Replace hi low drinking fountain in waiting room. New door closer at parking side door. New door closer at platform side door. Phase 2 Rework: Site Work: Remove approx. 800 ft of existing asphalt platform and paving. Remove 1 existing concrete railway crossing. Remove existing asphalt for pathway from station building to platform. Salvage existing WCLE, save and store for relocation on new slab with direct access to new platform. Remove all materials per BNSF specifications and applicable regulations. New site grading, drainage, and utilities to support new platform. Modify existing sidewalk from station building to prow to accommodate new conditions. (2) New 12' clear concrete platform sections, 8" ATR, 245' in length, including detectable warning strips and guardrail. (1) New 12' clear concrete landing, 0" ATR, 137' in length, between new platform sections with compliant access to raised platform, and 2 new rail crossings. Including detectable warning strips. Signage: Relocate (3) existing A1 signs and foundations. Relocate (1) existing A12 sign and foundation. Relocate (2) existing R7-8 HC parking signs and foundations. Relocate (1) existing R7-8P van accessible parking sign and foundation. (1) New C20 exterior sign at track side station entrance. (2) New D4 regulatory signs at ends of platform, restricted to public access. (2) New D4a regulatory signs at ends of platform, emergency exit only. Station Exterior: Replace doors and all accessories on the track side and parking side for ADA compliancy, make door operation ADA compliant.
