Site work and renovation of a civil project in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Proposals are invited, which involves the replacement of the major components of the existing stormwater pump station system with modern versions of natural gas fired engines and vertical drive pumps, enhances controls and communications to the pumps and makes a variety of improvements to the supporting systems and physical state of the building and site at Milepost 92 in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. The pump station must remain operational at all times, with a minimum of two pumps (new, existing, or a combination of such) fully operational. The principal items of work include: Roadway Excavation, Earth - 2,600 Cubic Yards Riprap Stone Slope Protection, 12in Thick (D50=6in) - 809 Ton Building Electric Work - Location No. 1-1 Lump Sum Building Mechanical Work - Location No. 1 - 1 Lump Sum Building Architectural Work - Location No. 1-1 Lump Sum Building Structural Work - Location No. 1 -1 Lump Sum Bidders must be prequalified under the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, Contract Classification C008, General Construction OR Classification C009, General Construction / Alterations and Additions, and Rating up to $3,500,000 Minimum prior to the receipt of bids. For proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Contract Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be within 10 percent of the total price bid by the joint venture. In cases where the sum of the ratings exceeds $10 million, the joint venture's rating will be Unlimited. Bidders shall submit evidence of their current and valid assigned NJDMPC Classification and Rating to the Authority's Engineering Department no later than December 12, 2023. Contractors shall comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act ("PWCRA"), as amended in, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All Bidders shall be registered pursuant to the PWCRA at the time of Proposal submission and are requested to submit a valid certificate of registration with their Proposals. No Contractor or Subcontractor, including lower tier Subcontractors, shall engage in the performance of any public work subject to the contract, unless the contractor or subcontractor is registered pursuant to the Act. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 25% of this contract to subcontractors registered by the Division as an SBE firm. Subcontracting goals do not apply if the prime contractor is a registered SBE firm. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 3% of this Contract to Subcontractors registered by the Division as a DVOB firm. Subcontracting goals do not apply if the prime Contractor is a registered DVOB firm. All work under the Contract shall be performed and completed on or before October 23, 2025. If the Contractor fails to complete fully, entirely and in conformity with the provisions of the Contract, the Project and each and every part and appurtenance thereof, within the time stated above, or any portion for which a Completion Date is stipulated within such further time as may have been granted in accordance with the provisions of the Contract, then the Contractor shall and hereby agrees to pay the Authority for each and every calendar day that it is in default on time to complete the entire Project, $2,000 which said amount per calendar day is agreed upon by the parties hereto to be liquidated damages and not a penalty.
