The City of Richmond is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide services to the City in developing a Parks Master Plan. This would be the City first Parks Master Plan. The City seeks a consultant that will provide expertise and a strong leadership role in advising city staff, park board, and the City Council on how to best plan for our community parks and recreation needs, wants, and desires. The master plan is intended to be a tool used in guiding City decision-making related to parks and recreation planning, programming, and facility development on a long-term basis. Scope of Work Task 1 - Project kick-off, Existing Conditions Inventory and Analysis Task 2 - Review of Plans and Documents Task 3 - Public Engagement Task 4 - Development of Supply/Demand & Demographics/Trend Analysis Task 5 - Needs Assessment, Development of Vision, Design Guidelines, and Implementation Strategy Task 6 - Master Plan Development Proposal Period: November 27, 2023 - December 28, 2023 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
