Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Reference number : 1785201 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-12-21 The execution of work to bring certain existing conditions up to standard: Corrections to fire-resistant partitions and doors, a handrail and addition of an exterior staircase. The 3 buildings forming the entity of pavilion 532 (A: Maximilien-Caron, B: 3 200 Jean-Brillant and C: Lionel-Groulx) were built in the 1960s. Certain existing conditions no longer meet current standards and codes . In order to receive approval of the request for different measures from the RBQ, modifications are required to isolate blocks A, B and C. Thus, by validating the fire integrity of the partitions concerned in this project and by making the required corrections, the buildings forming entity 532 will be recognized as compliant. In addition, some corrections will be made to an existing handrail as well as (exterior) stairs. *Award is subject to final approval.
