(Door A), for Annex Interior IT Office Renovation The district reserves the right to (1) reject any Proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, (2) to add to the price bid by nonresident bidders an increase equal to the percent preference that the nonresident bidders home state would give it's instate bidders, (3) to reject, for good cause, any or all Bids that are not in the best interest of the district, (4) to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive any formalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of Medford School District to be in its best interest The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one qualified source to perform the demolition, removal of debris, and remodeling of two separate spaces at the MSD Annex Building. The work will be performed according to the architectural plans provided upon request. The work will include, but is not limited to: Wall and ceiling removal/replacement Office space build out Renovation of IT Tech Areas Addition of two office spaces HVAC renovations Electrical needs III. GENERAL NOTES 1) If applicable, contractors can utilize existing low-voltage raceway. 2) The contractors are responsible for obtaining all required state and local permits. 3) Contractors work must conform to all code requirements including but not limited to the NEC, Oregon Specialty Electrical code and all building code requirements. 4) Contractors are responsible for all cutting, boring or digging required to complete the job. 5) Contractors are responsible for all damages done to walls, ceilings and finishes during installation of materials. 6) Contractors are responsible for clean-up and restoration of the site. This includes ceiling tiles, displaced furniture, etc. 7) Contractors are responsible for coordinating with the custodial/facilities staff to avoid conflicts regarding building maintenance. 8) Work is to be completed by June 30, 2024. 9) Work needs to be coordinated with the IT staff for minimal interruption. Questions, interpretations or clarifications of this ITB must be requested in writing. All questions should be directed to Jackie Flory, Purchasing Manager at Jackie.Flory@medford.K12.or.us. Oral instructions or information concerning the ITB given out by District employees or agents to prospective Respondents shall not bind the District.
