The scope of work under base bid includes replacement of the roof and rooftop mechanical equipment. Work includes but is not limited to the decommissioning, removal, and disposal of an existing rooftop solar array, the replacement of approximately 144,250 square feet of membrane roofing and insulation, and the removal and replacement of rooftop mechanical equipment, including 13 Rooftop Units (RTUs), 7 Make-up Air Units, and 15 Exhaust Fans. Work includes modification of supporting structural steel, fireproofing, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical work, some of which will take place in occupied space below. Work also includes removal, selective demolition of finished ceilings below the roof to access the Work, and subsequent restoration of those finished ceilings. Contractor is responsible for providing temporary barricades, dust protection, and maintaining egress clearances and interior temperatures during the Work while working in occupied spaces.
