Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking competitive proposals for the provision of professional design consultant services to undertake the remediation 3 parking structures at the following locations: - RUH Parkade 103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon SK S7N 0W8 - SCH Parkade 540 5th Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK - SPH Parkade 131 Avenue R North, Saskatoon, SK Work on this project is expected to start immediately so that a contractor can be procured for construction in the summer of 2024. General Information : There are 4 Acute Care (Hospital) Facilities located in Saskatoon with 3 associated parking structures (Parkades) a. Royal University Hospital (RUH) and The Jim Pattison Children's Hospital (JPCH, not in picture) parking structure is comprised of several sections built in the years spanning from 1972 to 2013. b. Saskatoon City Hospital (SCH) parking structure consisting of 4 levels built in the early 1990s. Construction type is post tension cable. c. Saint Paul's Hospital (SPH) parking structure consists of 5 levels built in the mid-1980s. Construction type is post tension cable. The scope of services described in this section apply to all the parking structures. SHA is seeking professional design consulting services from firms that will act as the lead design consultant and their assembled sub-consultant teams to develop a multi-year program for the infrastructure renewal required for SHA's 3 Parkades. The project/s will be completed in two phases where the infrastructure remediation is prioritized on an annual basis: Phase 1: A separate Assessment of Each Parkade's Current State, Detailing Remediation Repair Priorities (High, Medium and Low) along with an accompanying Cost Estimate and recommended yearly annualized approach. Phase 2: Each parking structure to have its own Detailed Design, Tendering, Pre & Post Construction Services. Proponents will assemble and identify in their proposal, a consulting team that should include (depending on the needs at each location) some or all of the following specialist disciplines: 1. Civil Engineering 2. Mechanical Engineering The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
