The work consists of site improvements, construction of a new building, abatement and demolition of the existing building at the Cromwell Middle School, 6 Mann Memorial Drive, Cromwell CT 06146. As of October 16, 2024, construction had commenced in February 2024 per the construciton manager and all trades have been awarded. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. A 10% Bid Bond or Bid Security, payable to Newfield Construction is required from each Bidder at the time of bid submission. All bidders will be required to post Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of the Contract Sum. The cost of such bonds shall be included in the bid price.
